johannes-andreas urban – vase | c. 1955

the thuringian forest was covered by its first significant snowfall of the season this week. maybe the snowy hills viewable from his workshop in friedrichroda inspired johannes-andreas urban to this style of glaze. [glazed stoneware, h. 11,2cm]

erhard franke, günther pucher, heidi rosemann – tea set ‹duett› | kahla | 1970

royal copenhagen, gustavsberg or rörstrand? sorry, not scandinavian at all. this well designed shape duett was produced by the east german porcelain company kahla. really trendy for its time and much more for today, but it is no longer in production since 1980. [glazed porcelain, h. 13cm]
